Tychy Half Marathon – a 21 km run along the route with the PZLA certificate.
The route leads through the streets of the city of Tychy (asphalt) and around Lake Paprocańskie (partially compacted forest trails).
The start, finish, competition office and running camp will be located near the Athletics Stadium in Tychy, at Edukacja Street.
The aim of the event is to popularize running as a form of active recreation and to promote Tychy as a city good for practicing sports.
During the competition, there are many accompanying events, such as runs for children, warm-up and sports activities, massages, attractions for children.
The first edition took place in September 2012 and was attended by over 400 people, while in 2019 almost 1600 people participated in the run! In 2020, the run did not take place due to pandemic restrictions, but a year later we returned to the Tyski Half Marathon route. In the record year 2022, 1,946 were enrolled and 1,645 people graduated.
This year we invite you on a tour debuting in 2022 - throughout Tychy and Paprocany with the finish at the Athletics Stadium!
The run is held under the patronage of the Mayor of Tychy.
