During the meeting, with the help of an interpreter, we will tell you about sports in Poland and Tychy and the famous sportsmen who come from our city. We are happy to hear about your sports interests, favorite teams and players. We are interested in what sports you train, which you like to watch. We will suggest where in Tychy you will find places for sports, walking and sports games.
Together, we will watch the sports exhibition of the Tyska Sport Gallery and visit the stadium - one of the most beautiful football facilities in Poland. There is also a film screening, as well as art classes.
Sport is also connected between Poland and Ukraine. 10 years ago, both countries jointly and successfully organized the European football championship. The player of Dynamo Kyiv is the representative of Poland, Tomasz Kędziora. Many athletes from Ukraine play in Polish clubs. This is also the case in Tychy. Hockey player Andrij Michnow from Kiev in 2019 became the Polish champion with GKS Tychy, and in 2018 he won the Polish Super Cup. In 2016, the footballer Stepan Hirśkyj from Lviv scored the winning goal for GKS-Tychy in the match against Stal Mielec, which gave our team promotion to the 1st league.
