Cultural Tours: Tigran Vardikyan

The meeting with Tigran Vardikyan will start with an extraordinary sand painting show, which is a unique story, created, or actually made "live" - ​​a sand painting. Our guest from Tychy is known primarily from a long series of satirical drawings (several, if not a dozen or so thousand, and some of them decorate the houses of the portrayed people) published in Dziennik Zachodni, which depicted personalities of social life. Over the years, the "Tigran Gallery" has become legendary. It is not without reason that there is a saying in Tychy that "if you are not painted by Tigran, it means that you do not exist". Tigran Vardikyan comes from Armenia, and has been living and working in Poland since 1991. He is a versatile artist, because his oeuvre includes oil paintings, graphics, the aforementioned satirical drawings and sand animations.
