The author of the sculpture of Balbina's goose is Robert Sobociński. It was created in 2010. It is located in the Balbina estate in Tychy, on a playground for children. Apparently, the goose Balbina is supposed to bring good luck to anyone who sits on it, especially to first-graders starting their studies, and to watch over children playing in the square.
Outdoor sculptures created in Tychy in the 1970s are the result of cooperation between the Poviat Housing Cooperative Oskard and the Sculpture Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow.
